About the FEES


The base fees for the non Comp group include coaching at the two Fernie Competitions ( Big Air and the All Mtn Comp )

For the Competitive Group Club fees include coaching for up to four competitions


Optional events – Competitions that are not included in base club fees…coaching costs to be bourne by the athletes that attend these competitions. May or may not be Fernie athletes attending these events.


The fees have been designed as a cost flow through based on a series of assumptions on number of athletes and expenses.  The fees do not include entry fees or coach per diems at away events, nor do they include any of the optional events ie the pre season camp.

THE DIFFERENCE


As registered members of the provincial and national  freestyle programs, athletes have the opportunity to advance into provincial or national development programs if they desire.  Athletes also have the option of participating in freeride and freestyle competitions throughout western Canada.  The club carries the necessary insurance to compete in these

competitions which is not provided in current ski school directed free ride programs.


Coaches, parents, and athletes all have a voice in how the club is run and what the focus of the coaches will be with respect to their child's development.


Special attention has been given to working with coaches with excellent coaching credentials and more importantly, who possess the right attitude to make the experience fun and rewarding for the athletes.  In that regard, Mike Richards and Ben Ogilvie are tops in their class and the kids response to them has been overwhelmingly positive.
